Cravings begin in 3,2,1...

Like many shoe addicts, I am slowly coming down from my shoe high, and already on the prowl for my next conquest.

Allons Y:

When most of the top couture houses release their latest designs and retail them for thousands of dollars, us regular girls are limited by our pocket books, so main street fashion houses like ZigiNY come up with look alikes to satisfy our cravings.
I learned about Zigi shoes about 4 years ago and I must say they are a good place to shop for affordable stylish shoes. However, I cannot say I am completely sold by their designs, and in my opinion they aren't exactly the most original, but really who isnt a copy-cat these days?. Nevertheless, there area  pair of shoes in this collection which have caught my eye: the Brinks from ZigiNy's Black Label collection.
I must admit these shoes make me feel like: the Sam Edelman Lorissa and  louboutin Daffodils had a love child in the form of Zigi Black Label Brink:

Studded Suede hauteness! 6inch heel dreams on a 2inch platform making them wear like a 4", but you know you'll be walking like 10! I dont know if these babies fit true to size, but these, I would love to own! here

My next obsessions are from a Vegan store called Convert, which offers Eco-conscious fashion options for  costumers. One of the designers featured in their collection, my fave, Jeffrey Campbell. I have always loved Jeffrey Campbell's shoes but these shoes in the Convert line had me head over heels:

Here are the Glides. I love. They look aerodynamic, like something from a futuristic bohemian paradise, you cant help but stare. Even if you didn't like them, you'd stare. The woven zig-zag detail add to the eccentricity of the slipper.  Check'em out here

On to the next:
At first I thought these shoes were simply put: ugly, plain ugly; but they eventually grew on me. The Australian based shoe label has a reputation for coming out with edgy and sometimes downright weird-looking footwear.    They arent exactly easy on the eyes for the classic mainstream girl, but they catch on after a while. Senso Diffusion Wilmas fall into that category; street edgy/punk ugly?? These babies will have you walking 5inches tall, with a 1.5 inch platform. They come in different colors, but my fave, the pinks are sold out completely.  :(

Here is another eye catcher, and this time they aren't as heavy on the pocket book. They are  Disko wedges, which I discovered on makemechic What sparked this obsession was when I laid eyes on the Jeffrey Campbell Damsels. I was less than impressed: Towering at 6.5" inches, the Damsels in my opinion lacked in design and imagination, the color options didn't help the situation either. J.C's Damsels  look like a pair of litas, wedged-out and wrapped up in leather or whatever print material they could find. *sigh* But  gimme a year or two, they may grow on me.

On the shorter end are the DiskoWedges at 6.25", not much difference right? Either way, I'm loving the suede and animal print combination, I obsess.

How hot would both shoes be if they were 7inches.......________________ My heart just stopped for a few seconds at the thought.

My final obsessions
Michael Antonio's Garcelle in black velvet.

Initially, I didnt know what to make of these shoes, but way to go Michael Antonio, way to step up on an edgy original. I have never been a fan of this Designer's shoes, but it seems like Spring2011 has been one heck of a year for this design label. Coming out with the Mercer, Ratu and the above Garcelle, which have been hot sellers on popular sites/stores like : Lulu's, Nastygal and ShopAkira.

What are you craving?
