Heel Hunter!!

Once again, I am on the prowl, on the look out for the next babies!! Seek and ye shall find...and here ladies and gents is wonderful beauty in shoe form from Tony Bianco. The shoes are super trendy!! Curved heels have been the craze this entire year.  On the plus side, these shoes are a less expensive stylish alternate version Walter Steigers!!

Walter Steiger.

Check out more from Tony Bianco:

Speaking of a curved heels, here is another by Jeffrey Campbell. I am completely obsessed with the studded detail on the strap and the tassle on the side of the ankle strap. Simply Georgois. I dont have any details on the heel height, platforms and so on..but just, just look at these babies...just look at them.

And that my friends is what a shoegasm looks like!!

EBAY SHOES!!
I am an avid ebayer, for every expensive or sold out pair of shoes on the market, I turn to ebay. And in the process I discover even hotter shoes! Now if you are worried about buying stuff on ebay, then dont worry about it, you can go on just to view the eyecandy.

Here is a short Ebay lesson if you need to fulfill your shoe addiction. First up, sign up for an Ebay account, its free and easy to manage. Now on Ebay most things go on auction so you are in competition with other buyers for something you want. Before you bid make sure your seller has good standing/rating. You have to click on the Seller icon to check if they have had negative feedback in most recent weeks and why.  If the reasons are trivial like, "shipping took too long" or something like "I didnt like the color" then you might want . These and many more on www.ebay.com
Check out what I discovered, yes baby!!

To all the girls I've Loved Before!!

This is a story of all the shoes I have loved before, that have sauntered back and forth on my floor....

I cant finish the fake song because I dont know whate else to rhyme with. No, but seriously, these are my ex-babies: once mine, they never really struck a cord with me so I sold them. Yup...some I regret letting go, and others I dont....

So here goes:

First of the bunch is the Jessica Simpson Waleos. They have approximately a 5.25 inch heel and a 1.5 inch platform. The leopard prints were the rave this past season, and still is.  Check them out here.
I found these babies on sale at Nordstrom, what drew me in was that crazy leopard print and those platforms...girl! At the time I thought the shoes were pretty cute, they barely lasted a day in my closet...and were carted off to ebay...lol

SAM EDELMAN LORISSA

Now these babies were the business! I am telling you! Girls will either hate you or love you for obvious reasons. Infatuation I tellya, it was a short, steamy, affair, me and Lorissa. I snatched them up on a sale at Nordstrom, but later sold them because I had nowhere to wear them really. Its funny,I had such a hard time selling them on ebay for as low as $120.00 but the actual shoe retailed $225.00 on solestruck!!*scratches head* Edelman has released a closed toe version of these shoes on various websites and you can get to them here

ZIGI NY "Stripper Shoes"(Not the Official Names)

Now the names of these, I cant remember, but I know for sure  that they were  my first purchase from ZigiNY.  I was attracted because they were a replica of Giuseppe Zanotti's platforms. I was so obsessed, I  hunted these shoes down!! Since Zigi did not have an official website where you could purchase the shoes, I called the  ZigiNY store in New York. I described the shoes to the clerk who rang it up on the phone, then I had to send a freakin money order, to pay for the shoes and have them shipped to me.
That dear friends was a sign, indicating the beginning a full blown shoe addiction. lol,  I cant tell you where you can find these babies, but there are so many replicas on the market, you should have no problem finding a pair. Oh and I tried to sell them later on when I saw a porn actress wearing the very same shoes.(dont ask  me how)

Badgley Mischka  is well known for their formal wear and bridal gowns. I had never heard of their shoe line until I discovered Mark & James for Badgley Mischka woven sandals. I thought they were phenomenal and decided to do a little more research on the kind of shoes the label produced. Unfortunately I did not find anything to my taste, most of them were very satin silvery, pretty bridal shoes.(not for me thankyou!). Mark & James label is a more affordable brand for the Badgley Mischka shoe line. This particular pair isnt available online.
Check out more from the Mark and James line Here

Sam Edelman for the past 4 years has held the mainstream shoe market hostage with his edgy downtown chic designs. And no doubt, he has every right to! I love these Novatos!! Print or color you name it they got it. And if you don't like the sling backs there are open-toes available for your enjoyment.

Check out a pair of Novatos here.

Cravings begin in 3,2,1...

Like many shoe addicts, I am slowly coming down from my shoe high, and already on the prowl for my next conquest.

Allons Y:

When most of the top couture houses release their latest designs and retail them for thousands of dollars, us regular girls are limited by our pocket books, so main street fashion houses like ZigiNY come up with look alikes to satisfy our cravings.
I learned about Zigi shoes about 4 years ago and I must say they are a good place to shop for affordable stylish shoes. However, I cannot say I am completely sold by their designs, and in my opinion they aren't exactly the most original, but really who isnt a copy-cat these days?. Nevertheless, there area  pair of shoes in this collection which have caught my eye: the Brinks from ZigiNy's Black Label collection.
I must admit these shoes make me feel like: the Sam Edelman Lorissa and  louboutin Daffodils had a love child in the form of Zigi Black Label Brink:

Studded Suede hauteness! 6inch heel dreams on a 2inch platform making them wear like a 4", but you know you'll be walking like 10! I dont know if these babies fit true to size, but these, I would love to own! here

My next obsessions are from a Vegan store called Convert, which offers Eco-conscious fashion options for  costumers. One of the designers featured in their collection, my fave, Jeffrey Campbell. I have always loved Jeffrey Campbell's shoes but these shoes in the Convert line had me head over heels:

Here are the Glides. I love. They look aerodynamic, like something from a futuristic bohemian paradise, you cant help but stare. Even if you didn't like them, you'd stare. The woven zig-zag detail add to the eccentricity of the slipper.  Check'em out here

On to the next:
At first I thought these shoes were simply put: ugly, plain ugly; but they eventually grew on me. The Australian based shoe label has a reputation for coming out with edgy and sometimes downright weird-looking footwear.    They arent exactly easy on the eyes for the classic mainstream girl, but they catch on after a while. Senso Diffusion Wilmas fall into that category; street edgy/punk ugly?? These babies will have you walking 5inches tall, with a 1.5 inch platform. They come in different colors, but my fave, the pinks are sold out completely.  :(

Here is another eye catcher, and this time they aren't as heavy on the pocket book. They are  Disko wedges, which I discovered on makemechic What sparked this obsession was when I laid eyes on the Jeffrey Campbell Damsels. I was less than impressed: Towering at 6.5" inches, the Damsels in my opinion lacked in design and imagination, the color options didn't help the situation either. J.C's Damsels  look like a pair of litas, wedged-out and wrapped up in leather or whatever print material they could find. *sigh* But  gimme a year or two, they may grow on me.

On the shorter end are the DiskoWedges at 6.25", not much difference right? Either way, I'm loving the suede and animal print combination, I obsess.

How hot would both shoes be if they were 7inches.......________________ My heart just stopped for a few seconds at the thought.

My final obsessions
Michael Antonio's Garcelle in black velvet.

Initially, I didnt know what to make of these shoes, but way to go Michael Antonio, way to step up on an edgy original. I have never been a fan of this Designer's shoes, but it seems like Spring2011 has been one heck of a year for this design label. Coming out with the Mercer, Ratu and the above Garcelle, which have been hot sellers on popular sites/stores like : Lulu's, Nastygal and ShopAkira.

What are you craving?

My Sordid Affair

I am here to tell you about my sordid affair. Yes, my affair with shoes!!(lol) surprise, surprise?...no, not really.

Like a horny  twenty something year old jock, I seek shoes like he seeks his next chic.
When I spy a pair of gorgeous footwear I go crazy and obsess, till i acquire them. Yet alas, this euphoria is short lived! The minute I slide my feet into the babies, its over, once they've served their purpose, I am on to the next pair.

... Poor things....

Hence the premise for the upcoming blog entries. I will blog of shoes I own, once owned and desire to conquer. I will go on to obsess about the shoes and attempt to justify why I would like to fulfill these very shallow desires. Once I have had my fill of shoegasms aka the babies, I will blog and share my experience with you(Graphic details will not be excluded).

*Disclaimer*: This blog is not for the faint  of heart, or those withe weak constitutions. Hence it is rated NC17. Parents be advised. I kid.

Wait though! There's a catch! In order to "check myself" and make sure I dont become another selfish shoe addict(as if Im not already), I am going to let go of the babies after a short period of wearing them. Give me 25days to 3 months of experiencing the shoes, and depending whether I have grown attached or not I let them go, maybe to Charity, girlfriends or ebay....
I have always used this method for my clothes and some of my shoes, and I find it soothes my conscience,my closet and most of all my pocket book. I call it SHOE-CYCLING. I believe most women do this and dont realize it. Hopefully we you will all join me.

THE GUESS SHOES!
I first saw these babies on actress Megan Fox, she was wearing the Yves Saint Lauren open toes in tan, I dont remember the season but I fell inlove:

pic
Being a college student, I couldnt afford them since they retailed for $500.00 and above, so I looked for a replica, and to my joy I found the Guess version: Banana(I believe) they retailed for only $85.00.

My dearest boyfriend now hubby, bought them for me as a Christmas gift. The shoes and I paired up for a while, had a great time! Shortly after we separated, i.e I cant find them, I think theyre under my bed somewhere, its been like 3 years so far. smh....

Next were the Bebes..ooh the Bebes such beauties they were, they were a replica of the Louis Vuitton fall 2008 platforms. God bless those babies, they were haute!!! But I hated that the Louis Vuitton only came in 3 colors, black, gold and brown.(as if I could afford them-ch)
So I went a-hunting and found the Bebe France(s), unfortunately  they were all completely sold out and that style had been discontinued! I died a little inside, and turned ebay, and after 6months of vying and crying, I got my babies. Matter of fact, I got them in 2 colors, blue because thats what I wanted, and the black to reward myself for my perseverance!

Many shoes came and left(more like vanished under my bed or closet) but none struck me quite as much as the Jessica Simpson Danys. I was inspired by the Jeffrey Campbell versions called Foxy, which I thought were absolutely ghastly!

The last but definetely not the least are the Litas which I love. I got two, a black pair and a spotted white pair.

I sold the black distressed leather babies because I was a litttle dissapointed int he way they looked. I would really love other Jeffrey Campbell shoes, but that will be for my next entry. For 'babies" I would love to conquer.

So tell me of your conquests, send photos if you can. Be my guest and lets talk about our sordid affairs.
