Straps and Stripes

I am inlove witht Stripped shoes right now. My favourite to my surprise are the forever21 pair! There is something prettier about the fabric and he direction of the stripes. I don't quite like the Jeffrey Campbell, because there is something brash and jarring about the color and Stripe direction. One good thing about the JC's are the heel height. Awesome.

Jeffrey campbell does it again!! These are the Genera, for Miss KL! Talk about love at first sight. This shoe takes the meaning of  the T-Strap to a whole new level! The sole is one thin line connecting the heel to the platform! Yay! You can purchase these babies here.

Ebay Shoes

I was perusing the eBay landscape, looking for unique finds. I found these babies!! Mind you some of them are no longer listed.

First are the  7 inch platforms. They remind me of the Spice Girls circa 1995. These babies are still listed, mind you, they are from a Chinese seller. Shipping may take a little longer, the item may not look exactly the same. Remember, buying from Chinese sellers may sometimes be a gamble. However, eBay has made accommodations for that with the feedback system and chargeback from Paypal. But those are for worst case scenarios. In most cases, you can simply contact the seller, they really value their feedback ratings.

These shoes are no longer listed. Sorry. In lieu of the 7 inch heel craze aka "wannabe Daffodils", I thought these would be nice. I am not a fan of the construction but I like the hidden platform, lucite heel combo.

Bound and Caged

I cant say I am a 100% with Haus Von Lila's Dogma heels. Perhaps I am just not a big fan of the shape of the heels. Maybe its cause I am a bigger fan of the sandals which are  "No-Fuss" flats. We  start getting on to the slippery slope of tackiness when your heel construction is not perfect. Needless to say there is so  much going on on these shoes, you probably wouldn't notice.

The L.A.M.B Sandy. I love that pointed toe pumps are coming back. I am so glad we are rid of the exaggerated pointedness of the shoes from the late 90s to early 2000s.  The Sandys are a cheaper substitute to the Pigalle Platos.

The Next shoe is from the  Design Collective: Ego and Greed. Their insane 10 inch Platform!!(Yes 10 frikkin inches!) are part of the Street Cred Collection. Girl! when you see these babies in real life, you will pass out!  Below are the Jenny in Leopard print. Haha! Talk about making a statement: 10 inches and leopard print? your shoes would make a bigger statement even if you were naked!

They're in your face, outrageously raunchy and untamed. I love that! I wouldn't rock them, but they're on my "It girl" list.

Another feature is from a 23 year Boston Native's Designs: Thom Solo.  His RTW pieces are amazing, but not as stunning as what he has on his facebook page. Here is one draw back on these particular shoes. There may be a design flaw or it may be intentional, I dont know. But look closely at the platform and heel, they seem to be wider apart than usual.  Instead of forming the regular acute heel to sole angle, it looks slightly obtuse. Nevertheless, I am impressed with the flower details on the platform. Some would say, these are just a pair of big litas with flowers stuck to the platform. Either way,they're high, obnoxious and cool.

I am in  a rather risque mood this week- dont know why, but I am currently obsessed these CRAZY pair of pony heels!
These are pony heels and I love every detail!

Compared to the Jeffrey campbell shoes below, I much rather prefer the pony heels mainly because the curve of the sole is much more rigid and steeper. However the Jeffrey Campbell "HOLY" below has an outright semi circle to shape the sole. So instead of looking like you are your tippy toes you look more like you have your foot curled in. Details like that can make or break a shoe for me.

Yaay for consistent income, because the first place I go to when I get my paycheck is the SHOE STORE! (of course after bills and obligations, I am a functioning addict)
The shoes I recently purchased, are a darling pair of Steve Madden platforms, a replica of the Christian Louboutin Dombasie. What I love about the Steve Madden Shazzams over the Dombasies(aside from the price), is the woven detail, and when worn with the right outfit, you could be boho chic, or hipster fab. I am not a big fan of the golden straps on this version but I'd prefer golden straps over glittery golden 5" platforms(gag). The Louboutin Dombasies on the other hand, are way too much cork for my liking, not my taste at all-never been a big fan of cork platforms, but they may grow on me someday-not!

Once again, I am on the prowl, on the look out for the next babies!! Seek and ye shall find...and here ladies and gents is wonderful beauty in shoe form from Tony Bianco. The shoes are super trendy!! Curved heels have been the craze this entire year.  On the plus side, these shoes are a less expensive stylish alternate version Walter Steigers!!

Speaking of a curved heels, here is another by Jeffrey Campbell. I am completely obsessed with the studded detail on the strap and the tassle on the side of the ankle strap. Simply Georgois. I dont have any details on the heel height,platforms and so on..but just,just look at these babies...just look at them.
